When the root rider was added to the game, the fence was greatly devalued, and I'm sure there will be new technologies to improve walls in the future of Clash of Clans. Here's my concept art:
Description:
The Spike Tower is a new technological advancement in defense in Clash of Clans. This tower is different from other defenses because of its unique ability to react to enemy attacks.
Spike Tower: Has a small radius to lock onto the first wall, and further connects to 50 walls in any direction of your choice. (equip each of them with a spike), and then the enemy will only have a rough guess as to which walls are upgraded, (near the tower)
When one of these walls is destroyed by an enemy warrior, he will take a one-time spike damage equal to 30% of his current HP (only one troops)
If the fence is destroyed in any other way, (e.g. Archer Queen or Earthquake), the spikes will activate for nothing.
(the number of upgraded walls and damage dealt increases as the tower is upgraded).
*additional - spikes may not react to small units.
*additional - if you destroy a tower with spikes, the spike damage may be less.
2 variant of spike damage: when one of these walls is destroyed by an enemy unit, a few small spikes fly out of it and do a small amount of damage, for the rest of the game or for a period of time
The spiked tower will be a great countermeasure for overly strong root riders. Much like the Air Sweeper against air tacticians back in the day
